Overview
Overture is the first attorney-to-attorney referral platform that allows lawyers to ethically share fees across state lines. I’ve been with the company since the beginning, responsible for building and evolving its website and brand as a key part of the company’s growth. From explaining how the platform works to making the sign-up process easy to follow, the site has developed alongside the business to serve a national network of independent attorneys.
Goals
The site had to be more than just professional. It needed to clearly explain a new business model, reduce barriers to sign-up, and build immediate trust in a tightly regulated industry. For the design, we aimed for a clean, elite tech look that felt modern but approachable, reflecting Overture’s innovative way of helping attorneys run their businesses. The site prioritized clarity, speed, and ease of use. As the platform grew, the website refined over time. Through it all, the main goal stayed the same: maintain a consistent brand that feels both elite and approachable.
Approach
I designed and built the site from scratch, starting with content strategy and layout. Drawing inspiration from luxury real estate brands like Sotheby’s and Compass, the goal was a clear design that feels confident and approachable. The site uses clean visuals and structured flows to guide attorneys through how the platform works and why it’s valuable.

The site has scaled alongside Overture’s growth, helping onboard over 5,000 attorneys. It remains central to marketing and conversion by giving prospective members a clear understanding of the platform and how to get started.
